There’s a miracle called friendship,

That lives within the heart

You don’t know how it happens,

Or where it gets its start.

But the joy and contentment it brings,

Always gives a special lift.

And it’s only later that you realize,

That friendship is one of life’s most precious gifts.

The truest friend you can count on to always be there for you,

To remind you of Allah’s beauty and mercy that is all around you.

If I was to give you some advice,

I would tell you just this:

Friendship is a priceless gift that cannot be bought or sold,

But its value is far greater than many mountains of gold.

When I think of friendship, I think of you and me,

Our roots running so deep,

You are not just a book but are priceless, not cheap,

When I am down you lift me up.

Through thick and thin we triumph.

Creates solutions of every kind.

It can lighten the way of blinds.

Through everything you remain a constant guide.

There is nothing within it you can’t find.

It provides peace for my soul and mind.

You remind me of my maker and creator.

And of what is most important in life.

Every single word of it,

Every single letter and sound

Is in the heart and mind.

The effect is hard to describe.

My special friend has been sent by Ar-Rahman.

A manual script for mankind.

Illuminating the hearts with brightness.

A true reflection of our Lord's kindness.

Thanks for being there for me.

And for helping me to flourish and grow.
